  1. And the NRA annual convention is history. As is the Masters Tournament.
  2. The extra ammo I bought is a price hedge against the next ammo panic, whenever it comes. Also the next NJ legislative dump, which will happen eventually. I want to be able to keep practicing. If necessary, ammo is also excellent for bartering. As far as gunfights go, if I had to fire anything approaching 100 rounds, somebody is shooting back and I would expect to be shot before number 101. So my ammo stash is not about gunfighting.
  3. That is an excellent point. And to that point, Ronna McDaniel put together the timeline starting back in January comparing what Trump and his administration were doing and what the Democrats were focused on. You need to read it. And here's another more detailed summary.
  4. Here's a note. My wife went to Shoprite Newton about four days ago. Went into the front vestibule to get a sterile wipe for the cart handle as usual, and there's none there. ? I went this afternoon and while checking something out of the pharmacy asked about it. The clerk told me they stole three containers of wipes in 36 hours, so they brought them inside and parked them in front of the customer service desk. The lines today were about equal to three or four days before Thanksgiving. About eight registers open, three carts deep and most carts filled at least to the top line. The self-checkout registers had about a five person deep line when I got in it, and employees were directing traffic. At 3 PM on a March Thursday. Not exactly a panic. But people are gearing up. I was in two medical offices in the last 24 hours and their phones are humming with corona questions. I gather mainly elderly and scared people. I think I'm qualified as elderly, but I'm a long way from scared.
  5. As long as Tom Hanks and his wife survived, there's no issue anywhere for anyone. Just ask the media.
  6. We need a Puke gif added to the rating selections.
  7. These look similar to Remora Holsters, of which I have a couple. It doesn't appear Sticky Holsters specifically identifies models as 'pocket' holsters. So it's just based on the size of appropriate pocket pistols they fit? I'd be curious to try one.
  8. Well the cruise industry is halting company by company. Including Princess. @Sniper, is your trip inside this window? Here's the company statement.
  9. Alright, I'll put this out there. Maybe the government(s) can have a dry test run for a nationwide lockdown. You know, so when they do it for their own purposes you'll be pre-disposed to obey. Check out the Army USOC training video on "Megacities".
  10. Aside from getting sick at the end the Star Princess was fine. We thought it was worth the money. Food was good. The captain was Italian and a hoot. If you have him on your ship you'll know, because he'll sign off every announcement he makes over the intercom with "Bye bye" and will sound like Mickey Mouse when he does. Norovirus is the one we got the notice on. Couldn't remember the name. It was supposedly all over. I honestly don't know what I caught. It was really annoying but it didn't flatten me. And while we were docked in one of the Alaska ports, the Homicide Princess pulled in behind us. (Nee 'Emerald'.)
  11. OK @Sniper, pardon my snide humor. I couldn't resist. Seriously, I hope it works out for you. We did the Alaska land/cruise thing with Princess in August 2017. I got sick with 48 hours left in the cruise. Cough, throat, fever. Then during the debarkation we're sitting in the lounge waiting our call to go off and we suddenly notice everyone around us is coughing. Then I hear the guy sitting behind me saying "eight of the ten people in my party are sick, and they took one women off in a stretcher this morning." Wonderful. So regardless of the particular disease, those boats IMO are floating Petri dishes. Two side notes. The dominant smell in the state of Alaska is Purell hand sanitizer. It was literally everywhere. And when we checked in to our hotel the first night there was a notice on our bed that some virus was running rampant throughout the state and all the things we should do to avoid it. The only good news was when we were flying home. We flew out from Newark to Houston to Anchorage. But coming back it was Vancouver to D.C. to Newark. And it's damn good that was our home flight leg, because that weekend was the giant storm in Texas and Houston was underwater that Saturday. Two days earlier I had been in an elevator on the ship and asked if anyone was flying through Houston and about six people said yes, why? To which I said go back to your cabin and watch the news for the Houston weather report this weekend. Phew!
  12. By any chance are you booked on the Corona Princess?
  13. This morning the response time here is back to normal.
  14. Install a bidet. It eliminates about 60% of the need for showers. Full European. And I've been using the shopping cart wipes for the last three years. Along with apple cider vinegar tablets. Haven't been sick since.
  15. OK, so DNS resolution for the site was gone most of the afternoon, and so was the site. Much more responsive now. Do I detect a fix?
  16. I noticed a 5 to 10 second delay on various page loads this morning. Similar to the last two days. Not 100% consistent though.
  17. The Federal HST 50% off sale is on again until Sunday night.
  18. Yes, but our backup is still smoke signals. Even though we wouldn't vote for Fauxcahontas.
  19. Here too. Not getting a response right away on the initial connection setup. After connecting it seems the same. No issues with other regular sites.
  20. Stay out of Sussex County as well. We use Excel:
