  1. Actually, Osama could have been taken out by Clinton on a few occasions but he would not give the order. All the pres does is say yes or no to the operation. The CIA, military, and other special services are the ones who finds these guys and get them in the crosshairs. All the president does is give the ok to take them out. Let's not discredit the SEAL team that actually performed the operation by giving credit to the person sitting behind a monitor in the situation room.
  2. With the way the media spins facts (or ignores them) it will be difficult for him to be impeached. The spin doctors will protect him, and I'm not talking about the rock band from the 90's!
  3. Sorry, I should have mentioned that they can only extend the first 90 days. If your at 180 days, your out of luck.
  4. The sad part is that if BO lost, these discussions probably wouldn't be happening at this rate.
  5. I believe it's up to the chief of the department as to weather or not the P2P gets extended.
  6. Since yesterday, I've found myself engaged in more pro vs anti discussions than in the last year alone. Seems that the pro O anti types are out of the wood work and spewing! Anyone else noticing this or is it just me?
  7. WW I and WW II. Besides shaping the modern worlds boundaries, technology took major strides. Aside from industrial advancements, the idea of emergency medicine was born when they discovered a life could be saved by treating on the field instead of scooping up bodies after things quieted down and trying then. I believe that dates to WW I.
  8. I was told that the only reason they don't pursue passing hand gun hunting is because of the anti gun attitude in NJ. A while back I discussed this with a retired game warden.
  9. I'm still dreaming of the day I can hunt deer with a revolver in NJ!
  10. Not a bad idea as long as you can rotate stock so to speak. Gas will go bad after awhile. As far as the OP's question, I would say no. Close friends or family yes. Me and a friend have an agreement about pooling resources in a situation like this. Bags were packed, and ready to go Saturday night in anticipation of the storm. Didn't pull the trigger cause it miraculously never got too bad over here.
  11. Did you use wheel weights or did you buy lead/alloy?
  12. Yes, definitely missed. His stones were heavily broken this morning!
  13. Thought this might get a few laughs. A friend of mine was out bow hunting today. Before he left to get in his stand, he commented to me and a friend about us coming out to track with him if he hit something. At 5pm today, I get a text from him that said "deer down, deer down". My reply: "should I head out your way?". His reply: no. After a 15 minutes or so, his next text said "I missed". My reply: "thought you said deer down?" his reply: it must have ducked my arrow. This evening has been full of stone busting to say the least!
  14. The whole idea of "school yard society" has gone out the window. When I was in school, no one ever went to the teachers to complain about another kid. Heck, if two of us were fighting and came in bruised or bleeding from the playground, we all had the same "the fell" story. It's safe to say most people are paranoid with all the anti bully rules that exist now.
  15. I've gotten notes sent home about my 6 year old because she was "mean" to another student at lunch in school. Turns out this one kid kept trying to cut in front of her in line at lunch and my daughter stood up for herself and said no. The other kid ran and told on my daughter. I try to teach her not to let people walk on her, but she goes to school and sets in trouble for telling someone no. It's not easy raising a kid to use their own reasoning these days.
  16. Order ammo online or get on the ACE and head over the bridge to PA and buy. I grew up in Hammonton and shoot at SJSC. Glad to make the acquaintance of a fellow Hammontonian!
  17. Your drivers license must match your FID/pistol permits to buy. I personally never heard of an application transfer. I would say you should ask the NJSP how to handle it. If you moved, did your change of address for mail/DL, your probably going to have to apply for a FID change of address and new pistol permits once you finally receive the ones you currently are waiting for.
  18. I say go G20SF. I was not a Glock fan till I decided I wanted 10mm and didn't want to drop over $900 on a Delta Elite. Very accurate gun, plus Lone Wolf, KKM, and a few others make drop in barrels and other goodies that give you tons of options. You can shoot 9x25 Dillion and 40 S&W by simply dropping in a new barrel. I do recommend spending a few bucks and replacing the plastic guide rod and spring if your going to load or buy full power 10mm ammo. Check out 10mmforum.com and you'll see just how many devout 10mm fans are shooting the G20. Check out Underwood Ammo, www.underwood.com for full power 10mm ammo. Costs $25 a box, comparable to store bought .45 in price.
  19. You just made my Surefire flashlights very happy!
  20. Let me add a layer to this discussion. How about using magnum primers (pistol) in place of a standard primer? I've been searching the subject and seems a lot of reloaders are using small and large pistol magnum primers exclusively.
  21. So seems like keeping with the Federal primers is a good move.
  22. I was wondering what primers are the softest, and which are the hardest? Is there a dramatic difference between the various brands? Does a brand like Tulia even compare to Federal or CCI? I've been using Federal 100 small pistol primers for my .38 special rounds with great success. Made my first test batch of .44 mag ammo yesterday with Winchester primers, 180g XTP's and Blue Dot. Had two rounds out of 24 not fire, and it was obvious that there was hardly a dent in the primer of the two bad rounds. My Super Redhawk does have a lightened hammer spring, but this is the first time primer strike has ever been an issue.
  23. Was poking around the Fiocchi site and saw that they have a recall on 22-250 and 243 ammo. Here is a link to the PDF on their site. http://www.fiocchiusa.com/foa/download/PRODUCT%20WARNING%20AND%20RECALL%20NOTICE.pdf
  24. Bobs in Glassboro does have powder and primers, however they are kept in the back so you need to ask for them. Their staff has told me it is best to call and ask what's in stock since it changes from week to week.
