Judging by the responses, I'm assuming no one has applied for the fear of immediate denial. Just want to make sure I have the process correct: you submit all the paperwork to your local PD, the chief signs off it's approved, and then has to signed and approved again by a judge?? Is that right?

I was reading something and it got me thinking, has anyone on here applied for a NJ CCW? I realized that I was told and keep hearing that it is impossible unless you're connected etc. So I just accepted the fact that it's impossible and didn't try. But have any regular citizens ever applied and been approved? I'm sure this might have been discussed before but I couldn't find it. The point of my question being have we all accepted defeat without even trying? Not trying to sound negative, just an honest question. Also, is there any record of how many ccws NJ issues per year?

My friends and I did #7 in highschool we had Eye of the Tiger on our ipod and whenever we saw someone jogging we'd pull up next to them, and keep up their pace. Also did it to friends on the track team. #5 would be fun if you dressed in clothes from a different generation, like dressing up in an outfit from the '50s and doing it, would really sell the joke.
