  1. if anyone wants 15 round ar mags let me know. i'm moving to america in 3 weeks so i don't need them anymore. just thought its be easiest to bring them to the shootout so i know they will go to someone who will use them well.
  2. seriuosly leave a 12 pack next to your garbage can with the couch and a note. i used to be a trash guy and we took that shit all the time even though we weren't supposed to. usually got a 12 pack or $20 tip.
  3. all these nice builds. i cant wait to get the NC and do a SBR. first thing i'm doing when i change over my residency along with getting my CCW.
  4. It worked pretty good. Its even the blaze orange special edition. I think im missing a detent on it tho. My shocker was my go to marker. Even tho she was a gas hog.
  5. I haven't played paintball in years. Still got my smart parts shocker sft and nerve tho.
  6. get a match grade crowned barrel. if you are going to build i would look at a matched receiver set with a tension set screw. and i wouldn't buy any AR, you get much more bang for your buck if you build it. do your research and buy good stuff the first time.
  7. I was thinking of getting into doing this. But if you're looking for practice I'll let you make a holster for my sig before I move. I can OC down in NC so I'll be lining for one anyway.
  8. These are problems I hope to have in the very near future. As soon as I get settled in at my new job when I move I'll be sending out my forms to the ATF.
  9. Most people don't know how to shoot. I took a class an was amazed at how some of targets were. People couldn't stay in a 2 inch circle at 5 yards shooting controlled pairs with an AR. I am far from a great shooter but at least I can hit what im aiming at 95% of the time

    Glock19

how do you get in the blue label program if your are not a second responder or military?
  11. Seriously. Don't forget targets and a staple gun with lots of extra staples. Every time I go my staple gun is like a cheap whore because people forget theirs or run out of staples.
  12. Just bustin on the way you worded your post. Family always comes first man.
  13. they used to let people go watch the blue angels practice at NAS Pensacola back before 9/11. i remember going there a few times when i was a kid it was pretty sweet. after their flight they would come over and talk to the people that showed up and do autographs. now that my brother is a pilot for the navy it had kinda lost its glamor tho...
  14. henry varmint in .17 hmr. i have one and that thing is a tack driver out to 150 yards. one of my favorite guns to shoot.
  15. i wouldn't waste my time and money. you already know how a shotgun works, what its used for and the safety rules. youll enjoy yourself much more by coming to the shootout. plus it'll probably be my last one...
  16. I've never seen or heard of that happening on a properly mounted sight
  17. The ATF basically tells everyone what the will or won't arrest for.
  18. i actually found that the standard size safety is easier to work with my index finger when i put it back on safe so i prefer it there. mine came with a standard and small size and found the small works well with my thumb on the left side of the weapon. i can move my hand less to manipulate it so it works better for me.
  19. im with vlad. boooooo on the EOtech. yaaay on the geissele. in my opinion aimpoints are much better in every way. they take a huge beating and still keep working. plus, the battery lasts for 50000+ hours (5 years) of constant on.
  20. people over thinking the law... put ONE roll pin it a friction lock and your good. i had to use two because i messed up my first hole and only caught half of the part i was drilling into. i didn't want it to break if some asshole cop really hammered on the slide lock. if you are really that worried about it tho, just buy a magpul fixed carbine stock. i bought one because it was on sale for $40 instead of almost $100 for an STR. it is very solid and the same spot as my STR that i pinned in the second position out from all the way closed.
  21. If you can get an ak chambered in a full power cartrage, I'm sure it would fair just as well as an M1. 7.62x39 is an intermediate cartrage used for work out to 500 yds but preferably closer. You're really comparing apples and oranges here.
  22. i just told them when they called me that i live in NJ and will be moving there the first week in may. told them i had obligations here and i could interview over the phone if they wanted. apparently there is a lot of room for advancement in servpro. which i'm hoping for, i'm in line to be a supervisor at my job now in the next 2-3 years when my current one retires. but i can't stand the pettiness at my company and the stupidity of the management. one of the other reasons i wanted to get out of here. still havent told them yet im gonna try to squeeze a few vacation days out of them before i do
  23. its florida. you dont need an "in". take class, pay fee, wait until it comes in the mail.
