  1. I thoughts prices were okay. Decent enough to pick up a Stag 3G. The S&W they had were the sport models and priced for about 750.
  2. Okay, here are my .02 Having been an AMEX user for almost 10 yrs I will agree they have a good program, but given that you need to PAY them to use what other companies offer you for free is in my opinion not worth it anymore. 8 yrs ago the wife and I both cancelled our Amex cards instantly saving 800 a year. That alone pays for a cute weekend away every year for us. Having just had our first child we opened a Chase account under the Toys R US program have never looked back. We charge everything to this card, And i mean everything. From gas, to weekly groceries, car insurance, cell phones to doctor visits...everything. We earn 1% on each purchase and 4% at Toys R US. Over the course of the year that turns into roughly 600+ for us in gift cards to TOY R US which helps at Christmas time. Fraud prevention is top notch in my opinion. In three separate instances, Chase never question us and immediately closed the account, issued new cards and settle the dispute in our favor inside 1 business week. Recently I've opened a Chase Freedom account to track my gun and ammo purchases and I have to say I'm digging how the point quickly stack up. The 5% on gas and other common purchases are a nice touch. It also offers a "freedom blue" option that allows you set certain merchant purchases on an extended payment plan while not subjecting day today purchases to interest charges. My vote goes to Chase. They still have the Toys R US card and now the Freedom account so definitely check them out
  3. Heritage Easton has had ARs in stock for a long time now. Bis issue they are not NJ legal. Not sure about the branchburg store but I might be stopping tomorrow and will post up findings
  4. Try American home shield. We've had it for years and they have very timely in getting item fixed and paying the worker. Furnace took a dump this past winter and I paid 1800 out of pocket on a 8k system. We were able to pick which system we wanted and they have us 250 for space heaters and 500 for hotel fees while the scheduled the work Our plan is 54 a month with a 95 deductible but we are covered for all major appliances, garage doors, wiring, plumbing, pumps...everything

  15. Hello all - I'm looking for some local help in confirming I've set up my press correctly. It's a new lee loadmaster and currently set up for .45acp. I have tumbled brass, unique powder and small pistol primers for the brass with smaller primer pockets. Items I'm unsure of are : which powder disc to use with unique. Will eventually have/use w231 but unique was the only thing in stock. Confirmation that dies are set up correctly (currently 3 die set up) Any useful tips I can use for when I begin doing 9mm would also be appreciated. I can offer a Case of beer and box or 2 of ammo. Thanks in advance. Gabe
  16. Oh don't get me wrong, I'm all for an owner making his money. That's what America was built on. it's just the huge premium over member pricing that shocked me. I'm sure the owner is not losing money on the ammo at 17/box since its what other ranges a charging. If the owner is concerned about bulk sales, simply limit sales to 1 box, like other stores have done. Again, having been there just 1 time the pricing shocked me.
  17. Well I stopped by RTSP yesterday with 3 other buddies, one being a somerset country swat officer. This was out first time there and overall we had an enjoyable time. The wait time was minimal, considering it was 2pm- less then 10 minutes. The counter help was fantastic; sorry I forgot her name but she was the blonde-ish girl. My only complaint was the price of ammo. Roughly 17 for a box of 9mm for members, but 27 for non members. Now I get the drive of supporting your member base, but that seemed out of line. Clearly if you can sell a box to a member for 17, you're not losing money, but to charge a non member 10/box more seemed unfair. Just my .02
  18. I know heritage guild in Easton had one about a 2-3 weeks back...try giving them a shout
  19. Primary use will be home defense with occasion trips to shoot clays. So the persuader with heat shield and side saddle worth the coin?
