I don't think anyone has brought this up yet but sorry if I am repeating this. If you sign up for the draft doesn't that make you part of the militia sort of? You basically can be called apon to fight in time of war if congress finds it necessary. I could be wrong though...

Even though I got a email back from my assembleman I still put a call in.

I emailed Singer saying the usually... New laws just punish law abiding gun owners and do nothing to deter criminals because they don't care about laws. And that we already have some of the strickest laws, anymore would infringe more on the 2nd amendment. I got this short response but it at least doesn't seen like an auto reply and he reads his mail and agrees. "Thank you for contacting me. We are on the same page with this issue; I believe the best course of action is to put more dollars into our mental health system. Bob Singer"

I think Obama is realizing more people actually get killed by handguns then assault rifles so people are worried even more now...

It's an auto response email. I got the same one about 3 minutes after sending him an email.

I think that would only ban a semi automatic type of the glock 18... if they make one that I have never heard of. Glock itself is not listed under the list of banned pistols.
