5 Lamest Reasons to Buy a New Gun...
Sell682 replied to Bully's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
I usually use : 1. Permit about to expire 2. They could create a ban and I would never have it and I want to pass it down to my kids. -
I use an empty ammo can to store lipos for my heli. nice piece of mind. RC is a very addictive hobby and as you get more into it you will want to get into the Losi, AE , X-ray line of cars and trucks. Consider these build your own kits. Like a stripped lower. You purchase the electronics, motor, radio , tires you want. A lot of great shops around the area for all your needs.

I'm just hoping the Zombies can pump gas faster then the current attendents.

What are you exactly removing to make it legal?

I like the reset I am not a fan of the spongy feeling and wondering if there are ways to mitigate it ... If not then I might have to go with a S&W 1911 9mm pro

This is for IDPA competition / target shooting. I was wondering if its better to just buy a kit or take to a smith.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has installed an edge or Vogel trigger on their glock and if they had a trigger job done and by who. What was you experience ?
-
Thank you for the replies. What other brands do you recommend.

I am looking for my first AR. I was looking at the S&W sport but also considering LWRC rifles. Are LWRC rifles that much better? Do they have an entry models and price point? I know I can build one but I just don't feel that competent in doing so and I rather spend time shooting my first AR then scratching my head.

Thanks all for the help...I'm still saving up but looks like a glock 34 may be it. I already have a nightstand gun and this is predominately for target shooting and IDPA .

the walls are going up quick at Woodland Park range..

I'm also impressed at the rate things are going up but I'm sure the time consuming part comes when all the ports, ventilation , electronics go in and the constant inspections. I'm waiting on some pistol permits so I can help do my part in funding the project ...hahah -
Thank you all for the offers and advice. Bry@n u never offered ur opinion since u have both .

I'm stuck guys and need some input on which one i should purchase. Can you give me the pros and cons for both based on your experience and your choice? Thanks in advance

I do agree RTSP is a larger and cleaner range but the prices are just not reasonable. I remember a shooter who wanted to rent a pistol to try it out and had the same ammo they sell for his own gun and they still made him buy a box. I hate when they say rentals are $10 but its deceiving. Its $10 plus ammo. What is one to do with a gun without bullets at a range. BH allows for half hour port rentals at half the price. Sometimes one just wants to get away a bit but not pay an hour for the 20 min they may use. I hope Luciano's takes into consideration these threads before establishing their prices.

Fast payment. Great communication. Will deal with again.

Or the guy just found out he will never have a chance at a Nj carry concealed permit.

I got better ammo deals at Cabelas as I don't reload. Cabelas is hosting NRA weekend. One question what are the laws to purchase a pistol or rifle at a gun show? Do you still require to go through a FFL? Has anyone purchased a gun / rifle from a PA gun show?
