  2. Joined for the year. Will try to contribute more after i use my last 2 permits and decide what's going and what's staying
  3. dc sportsman. Cool guy. In a shopping center on wheat road.
  4. That is an awesome deal then. What I quote from the website kinda left it open to what exactly you would get. Just having to send it shouldn't be a deal breaker. I paid 200 for the class, prints, photos and send at Bangers.
  5. While I completely agree that constitutional rights shouldn't end at state lines. You're talking football while everyone else is talking baseball. Both sports but different fields. Unfortunately they are different battles at this point.
  6. If it's $151 for the whole package (class, fingers, photo and send it) then that is a great deal for the area. If they are charging extra for the fingers, photo and sending I would ask before the class how much. What looks like a good deal might turn out to be an okay deal or not a deal at all "For your convenience, at our class sites, we offer fingerprinting services, passport photos, copy services, and select items at ‘crack shot’ prices"
  7. Bloody Mary.... Never a bad time for one. Like right now Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Not trying to be a dick because one day it might happen to me but obviously he can't get away with it. Could have easily been a parent, teenager or whoever bending down to get gum. Regardless I don't think most kids will get scared. I'd imagine it'd scare an adult first. I find OWB more comfortable but not comforting when trying to conceal. I just always feel one wrong move you're flashing the world.
  9. Got ya. I'm sure what you say has truth to it. I thought you were being specific about your town. I got scared for you. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I know you're from south jersey like me. If you don't mind me asking where are you from that it takes that long. I'm 30 days in Williamstown. Just want to know what towns not to move to if I stay in south jersey Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. awww man, damn! Wait, packing heat or crazy? F it. I'll be both. I like to multitask. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  12. On another note of having a small pistol for home carry.... If you buy a bg380, pm9, lcr, hell even an sr22. I can have them in my back or front pocket concealed if there is a knock at the door. If it's ups, fed ex or anyone I have to interact with the pistol stays put and they are none the wiser. If it's someone I don't know, they don't know. I'm not some crazy guy who answers his door packing heat Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  13. I got mine yesterday afternoon. Without looking I think my only came from Scranton pa Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. I did receive a call back. (Voicemail) he said they don't offer discounts or wholesale pricing but they would be more then happy to answer questions and deal with njgunforums.com . Maybe it would be better if a moderator / admin called them back about sponsoring. I would love to help with it but besides making a phone call I am obviously not the person to talk to. 15. I'm not sure about discharge laws in my town but in my area it's common to hear gun shots(not in a bad way either). And as far as the occupied dwelling.... Cool neighbors I guess. I don't do it often enough to piss them off I guess. (Knock on wood.) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Yes and I have fired the shell shot. It's not so much my neighbors but when I'm out front people driving by or kids walking down the street. My one neighbor is actually happy I kill the snakes and she encourages me to kill the groundhogs and moles. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  17. I rarely go to pa but still got the Utah permit. It's on the few occasions that is rather have it then say it's not worth having. Hell the Utah is good for 5 years and cost me 200 to get. That's 40 bucks a year for the comfort of traveling out of state. And it will be cheaper when u go to renew. I carry either my pm9 or LCR. Also I carry my LCR when doing yard work loaded with shot shells for snakes. I can throw it my pocket and I don't need to worry about my neighbors seeing me carry. Not that midst would care. 18. Gave it a try also. Good find. Thanks Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  19. damn it! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. i tend to watch it all and come to my own conclusion. As far a mcbethr's comment above. I don't know you but I've heard your stories.... Trying to take others money now??? Are all those beretta guns that involve fancy cars and girls finally taking its toll on your pockets? Try a glock, save some money and stop taking others money. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. it was always my understanding that laws are made to tell us what is illegal. When the day comes that I need to refer to a set of laws to tell me what I can do instead of what of what I can't do, I'll just be a criminal. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Took the class today. Kharis is a great guy. Very knowledgeable and big on safety. While it is a beginners class and I'd say I'm past that stage due to experience. It was informative and I'm a believer in no matter how much you know you can still learn something new or reaffirm knowledge from a basic class. I did this to meet the qualification for FL to back up my UT
  23. I'm legal Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  24. true my bad.... But minus the handgun transportation, isn't it all one in the same? Unloaded and cased/locked (same compartment) or unloaded in the trunk. It was always my understand the separate is a nasty word.
  25. per the state police. thanks to Vlad for posting it. I've probably opened that post 100 times and still continue to use it for reference. Your work was not for nothing in my eyes since it has put me in the right direction multiple times. I drive a quad cab pick up truck so I use my gun vault. It is out of sight but within reach. It is locked. Only way it will be open is if there is a warrant. I don't care if I'm right, wrong or indifferent. I will not discuss my firearm with the police for a traffic stop. If for some reason it is seen by a police officer I will tell him it is filled with personal items. People over think this. If for some reason you are stopped and they are pushing for searching your vehicle just remember........ I do not consent to searches. if it comes to that. However the likelihood that it will ever happen to the normal everyday none dickhead.... Slim to none.
