  1. I took it as if you didn't prepare or evacuate if you were informed to don't do stupid stuff in a panic. Personally I would rather have a governor who tells it how it is then try to be politically correct all the time like our previous governors. The government babies people too much as it is.... Is that what you want???
  2. My point exactly. She probably thinks we are all nuts bc we would shoot the bear in the right circumstances. Please don't take this statement and turn this into a political debate but its the best thing that I can think of that had a lot of people saying I'm nuts and stupid. I'm voting romney. Every Obama supporter calls me I'm crazy and stupid and not informed. Does that sound different from what you guys are saying about this woman's 2a's right? You start denying things bc a group of people gang up it starts to head down a dangerous road. Sent from my ADR6350 using Tapatalk 2
  3. Then I guess I stand corrected. And I still don't believe that she should be denied unless the state says she is a crazy hot mess
  4. I don't see in the exemptions that she can go to an FFL unless they repair or my kitchen table. Maybe it's the way i'm reading the transportation laws but I could see a big problem if she got caught by the wrong town. Kehoe's firearms purchaser ID card application was denied by Chief Roy Wherry on June 5, three months after she submitted her paperwork and six months after she was cited for allegedly feeding bears outside her Vernon home. According to this she is past the 180 days for the inheritance. Shouldn't the firearms already be taken?
  5. Mipafox, I believe there is and I'll have to ask around.
  6. If she needs to travel to sell them she does need an FID. Also it's the point that if I am correct on her only being charged with misdemeanors, she shouldn't be denied a FID. We may all think she is crazy but until a doctor tells the state that she is mentally unstable, guess what? it's only our opinion. If opinions decided who gets a FID in this state this forum would be pointless b/c nobody would own a gun. I just reread this and it sounds kinda rude. My apologizes in advanced. Just can't think of a better way of saying it
  7. I may be wrong but I believe they are misdemeanors. Not felonies.
  8. if she isn't a convicted felon, wasn't deemed a crazy by the state then she should have it. Personally I think she is a whack job but if you deny her then what's the every local PD to say I'm a whack job because......... or you're a whack job b/c................
  9. Hello Brian from Brick. Welcome to the forums
  10. Depends on why you have the guns. If it is for a collection, foam case. Just any old gun, gun rack. Home Defense, holstered, locked and load and only in the safe when i'm not home. My home defense gun is on my dresser at night. Not gonna fumble with a safe in the middle of the night. That's just my opinion.
  11. Hello and Welcome to the cool kids club.
  12. Same here. I've gone in there a few times and that is the only guy I've seen had brownish/greyish hair, glasses and a mustache. I've only recalled the guy described or the lady. I find the lady is always pleasant and nice to talk to. Safe to assume his son has been in the store for quite a few years b/c when I use to live in town and go in there with my buddy before he would take me to the range i've seen the same guy. I guess just ignorance on my part not knowing his son's name. Always thought that was ed.
  13. just picked up (10) .223 Tula (2) 9mm Rem (2) Winchester 40 bulks and (1) rem .22 value packs at Deptford location. They seem decently stocked
  14. very nice. I have the 23 and love it. I'm sure you'll enjoy the hell out of the yours. Reliable weapon and won't let ya down.
  15. So I'm not the only one who has had good and bad experiences with Ed's. My one buddy swears by him but when I go in there he can either be super friendly and a jerk in the same visit.
  16. Welcome to a very expensive hobby.
  17. 2C:58-17. KeepSafe program established 2. a. There is established a KeepSafe program to encourage and stimulate the safe storage of firearms in the State of New Jersey by providing instant rebates to firearms purchasers who purchase trigger locking devices. Under the program, a person who purchases a firearm from a retail dealer licensed under the provisions of N.J.S.2C:58-2 shall be eligible for a $5 instant rebate when a compatible trigger locking device is purchased along with that firearm. The licensed retail dealer shall deduct the rebate from the price of the compatible locking device in order to reduce by $5 the cost of the device for the purchaser. b.The Superintendent of State Police, in conjunction with the Attorney General, shall adopt guidelines in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, P.L.1968, c.410 (C.52:14B-1 et seq.), to effectuate the purposes of this act. In addition, the superintendent shall prepare and deliver to each licensed retail firearms dealer in the State the forms necessary to record and report participation in the program. The forms, which shall set forth the name, address, telephone number, State tax number and State license number of the retail firearms dealer, the name of the firearms purchaser and his firearms purchaser identification card number or permit to purchase a handgun number, the make and model number of the compatible trigger locking device purchased and the date of the sale, shall be in duplicate. One copy shall be retained by the retail dealer for his records. The other shall be submitted to the Attorney General for reimbursement. The reimbursement copies shall be submitted monthly at a time prescribed by the superintendent. The submitting retail dealer shall be entitled to a reimbursement of $5 for each trigger locking device sold as part of the KeepSafe program. To help defray any administrative costs, each participating retail dealer shall receive, in addition to the reimbursement, $0.50 for each valid reimbursement copy submitted. The superintendent also shall provide each licensed retail firearms dealer with a sign to be prominently displayed at a conspicuous place on the dealers business premises where firearms are offered for sale. The sign shall state substantially the following: KEEP NEW JERSEY FIREARMS SAFE. TO ENCOURAGE NEW JERSEY GUN OWNERS TO STORE THEIR FIREARMS SAFELY, THE STATE IS OFFERING A $5 INSTANT REBATE WHEN YOU PURCHASE A COMPATIBLE TRIGGER LOCK ALONG WITH YOUR FIREARM. REMEMBER--THE USE OF A TRIGGER LOCK IS ONLY ONE ASPECT OF RESPONSIBLE FIREARM STORAGE. FIREARMS SHOULD BE STORED, UNLOADED AND LOCKED IN A LOCATION THAT IS BOTH SEPARATE FROM THEIR AMMUNITION AND INACCESSIBLE TO CHILDREN. NEW JERSEYS FAMILIES AND CHILDREN ARE PRECIOUS--KEEP THEM SAFE! i'd be advertising free gun lock with purchase and it's your choice to use it.
  18. Doesn't NJ have a rebate for the gun dealers to give out locks??? Why would they make you purchase one? I thought the state had some gun lock safety program i read about
  19. Congrats, welcome to the club.
  20. Bob's has a very nice and polite staff, their prices are okay, them closing from 5 to 6:30 is kinda stupid in my eyes but it's his shop and the range is a little rough looking. I wish I could find a 100yd indoor range but i doubt that will be found locally. Unless PK90 opens one behind his store (WINK, WINK)
