Hi All, Did a search, didn't find anything - so I wanted to ask: I have a sport-touring bike. It has two hard, lockable sidecases. Is it legal to put a handgun (inside its own case as well) and ammo in the other sidecase and head to the range? If not - no big deal, I just rarely use the car in summer anymore due to gas prices in the last few years. Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I would sell the guns because I don't use, to buy something that I would (at least I think I would) use more often. I sold one Mosin Nagant that had 50 rounds through it in 8 years. The ones I kept, have 1000's.

Yet, if you succeed - this solution offers the least legal hassle out of all possible scenarios. I would, however, prefer to just move to a state with a castle doctrine. That said, although I do keep a shotgun for home defense, the probability of someone breaking into my house with me there is close to zero, as is for many people here. It's more of a fear than danger.
