Hello. All you Blackout fans this is for you.... OK Iam looking to do my first blackout build and I running into a little confusion hear. Iam looking to use a 14.5 barrel pinned to 16. Iam only looking to run supersonic ammo because yes a supersonic supressed rifle would be awesome but a big no no in this state.... my confusion lies with the use of a carbine gas system in a barrel shorter than 16 inches.... I read so many post that my head is spinning.... some say it wount work others are drilling out the gas port. Is the only reason for drilling the port on a carbine gas system is to run a suppressor and subsonic ammo? If so I should be OK running the 14.5 with a carbine gas system with supers only? Can atone please help. I would like to order the barrel but I don't want to waste my money buying something I can't use... also I know some will say just go with a 16 inch barrel with the carbine gas system but I really like the shorter barrel..... thanks

7.62 if you like the troy folding battle sights go to the Bushmaster website in the clearance area they have them for 69 bucks. I ordered a couple for my builds and there gtg. I have paid 130.00 at other places.....

Thanks T bill what springs and buffer system are you using for your BLK? Iam running a JP performance action spring and a Spikes ST-2T buffer in my mid and carbine gas systems they work really nice. Do you think that set up would work well with the 300 BLK? Thanks

Cool thanks I was looking at a MAS Defense but I think the Satern is a much better choice.... thanks keep me posted on your blackout build. I just ordered the Mega MKM ar15 keymod upper for the build. Iam going to go e Satern a call Monday morning.g and see if they have that barrel in stock.. thanks again Topher...

Topher there you are we we just talking about you.....lol when you bought the 300 BLK barrel from the site how long did it take to get. Iam still waiting on that 556 m4 barrel I ordered about a month ago. Also the gas block is it adjustable or just a stock lo pro? What was the cost for that and the gas tube? I was looking thru their site but didn't see it....

Howdy all. OK getting into my 300 BLK build and I had some questions about gas tube size. Iam looking at a Satern 14.5 barrel with the carbine gas system. I will only be running supersonic ammo unsuppressed. Iam a little confused because Ive read that to make it run with a carbine system I need to increase the gas port size... and that the pistol gas is better.....less problems. Is that for only shorter barrels running a suppressor. Someone please explain this to me.... thanks

Anyone have any experience with these guys. Iam having a hard time finding a 14.5 300 BLK barrel for my build. Looked at DD Reiner Wilson Combat but the stuff is not available or they don't make one.... didn't someone on here get one from Satern if so was it a 14.5 non stainless. How do you like it? Thanks all.... oh yeah I was able to locate and purchase my Mega MKM 12 inch upper.... found it out in California.... of all the anti gun states ..... really.... anyhow thanks all...

Guy look at it my way. When we do quals at work most of the young bucks are shooting Glocks Smiths and other hi cap hand guns but its amazing how much faster Iam at reloading my 7 round Kimber 1911 without missing a beat.... Why because by having to do more mag changes makes me more proficient and faster than the guys shooting the high cap mags.... so when I qual with my 15 round Smith Iam just as proficient and faster than the "young guns".........

I know Troy is on the shit list but if you want a nice rail go to the bushmaster site in the clearance area you can get a free float rail for under a hundred. I just picked up 2 carbine rails for 89 bucks a pop. They usually run a buck fifty each. They also have the folding front and rear sights for 69 bucks each..

If your in the Somerset county area PM me. I have a shop set up with all the needed tools and a good working knowledge of a good build.

Deerslayer. I Tryed doing it from a pc but I get the same message...... they texted me saying the lock would be off today but still nothing.... I keep trying and will let you know. If you make headway give me a heads up.. oh and don't try calling the help line you eather get a busy signal automatic disconnect. Bcm mod4 I like um swapped out all my others to them. Apparently the method behind the single hand swipe is to remain on target with your sights while charging the weapon. Don't vet me wrong I like the ambi raptor but I haven't played with one yet.... ugh... again you guys cost me more money.....lol....

65 bucks for a 30 min rental no ammo that's an extra 25 bucks for 50 rounds....
