Hopefully maybe things are actually starting ease up a bit.

I looked for months for the 317 or 63 without luck - ended up getting a CA Pathfinder. It's not bad for a cheap .22 revolver. Finish is a little crude and trigger is a bit rough but is starting to smooth out. It seems to be built well and shoots reasonably good. I will still grab one of the S&Ws or maybe a used Colt Diamondback if I can find one.

I stopped in last Saturday and purchased an ammo can and wool socks for me - pink camo shirt and gummy bears for the wifey. The store was nicely stocked with jackets and acu's. Nice ladies were working at the counter. I'll be back again for another can and maybe a beater jacket.

My last batch of PPP's took about a month in Toms River. I submitted the paperwork at the end of August and received them late September. Always apply for at least 6 permits. Getting them extended at 90 days for another 90 days is very quick and easy, literally takes about five minutes. The lady at the window is very nice but be careful not to piss her off. My batch before last took about three months. They have two extra forms, one for persons living with you and another for previous addresses.

In this particular case, this was shipped in the Federal / Independence case box which has "Cartridges Small Arms" right on it (of course, it could have been something else re-boxed). Also, on the shipping label itself, right near the ORM-D placard was "Cartridges Small Arms". Unfortunately, I wasn't home and my wife dealt with him.

Thank you for posting this - I received mine today. The UPS delivery man told my wife that they can not leave ammunition orders at the door anymore and that they have to be signed for. Good thing she was home. If this is true it will definitely cause some inconveniences in the future.

Hello! I've been reading this forum for over a year now and and finally came out of the closet and registered. Been shooting and a member of a private gun club for about 30 years. I shoot mostly pistols, preferably revolvers. I'm also into reloading and will be building an AR for the first time.
