  1. My friends sr had the mag issue sounds similar to your problems. Ruger sent him a new magazine and it resolved the issue. My sr was a pos out of the box. At 4 yards I couldn't hit the target. It was about 8" off from poa. Sent it back to Ruger. The pistol wasn't assembled correctly. Got it back and no more issues.
  2. Just a sign of the times. First an innocent pop tart and now a child's name. I can't say I'm surprised. As much as I love this country maybe its time to consider escaping while I still can.
  3. I know you said you cleaned it but look at the feed ramp and make sure it is clean and smooth. No burrs on it. One other thing to check is look at the ends of the mags. Make sure both edges look uniform. I have seen a few mags where one edge was bent from the factory and the gun would not cycle at all. Is this brand new and is it pistol or rifle? Has the gun worked for you before and this is a new issue?
  4. Come to the next Shotgun shoot out in Clinton. Loads of advice available there as well as trying some different guns out.
  5. As DamJanBlues said look at going to the next shotgun shoot out in Clinton. Great group and loads of different guns. I have a Mosseberg 200 pump from the 50's that I picked up for 125 and I love the thing.
  6. If you go there just keep in mind that if we are in a huge dry spell there might be reduced flow. Pretty cool place in fall.
  7. Might be a hike for you but its a pretty cool place. Bushkill Falls PA
  8. I have met a few people who didn't know what a hammer was. Watching somebody try and use a hammer that never has, now that's funny. I can weld it, it will hold, but it's going to be ugly.
  9. If it has windows its not a rape van. That's a shaggin wagon.
  10. Not the setting I pictured for a warning shot. So now I have to change my previous opinion. They are both jackasses. Originally I pictured it being much more open if he fired a warning shot.
  11. It's taking me 6 months to get my permits. That's not enough of a cool down period.
  12. Point taken. Not saying it was the smartest thing to do in that situation.
  13. Article says discharged into the ground.
  14. As far as I'm concerned if somebody is breaking into your house where your stuff is that you worked for, you do what you need to do. I have no sympathy for some ass hat pos that decides its easier to steal from somebody than get a job. The vet should be commended for showing restraint and not beating the guys ass.
  15. So was there more pro or antis there last night?
  16. As long as he poses no physical threat to you or your family I don't think you can, in NJ anyway.
  17. Just to throw some gas on the fire. DMV fees are not based on the amount of service they have to provide. Who knows where that money goes now. At one point in time it was based on the use and abuse you would put on the roads. The bigger the vehicle the more it costs. You should see what it costs for a commercial vehicle and the big trucks. At one point in time the money was used to fund road repair. I don't think anybody knows now.
