"Tom Bostic I just spent the last two hours at Engage listening to Andy taking calls on this matter. Everything from people who were concerned about their future gun rights to death threats. Things aren't always what they seem and death threats are a bit much , he didn't make the legislation and he's a stand up guy and would not do anything to take gun rights away from anyone. You people need to slow your roll and do your homework. I guarantee none of you called your legislatures with death threats when they proposed this law. He will be posting a video later tonight or first thing tomorrow explaining the entire situation. I can tell you he's not responsible if anything were to become of this with NJ."

Just got this response from Andy Raymond....Co-owner of Engage Armament!!! I really don't know what he meant to say but it seems as though he's under a ton of stress and has given in to us! The absence of any smart gun on his website says something! What do you guys take from his response??? Done and done boss. Im working on a video right now. Had a few shots but you have my word it will gun tonight

I just sent Andy this email, PS....I see no smart guns on his website as of 9:30PM EST today! Were they ever on there???? Andy, As a resident of New Jersey. I implore you to stop the sale of your so called smart gun. Your actions alone will bring to life severe restrictions in NJ and CA as well as open a federal floodgate! Please ask yourself, if you truly support the 2nd Amendment, why would you want to be known as the man who enabled the anti gun lawmakers to take away the rights of countless thousands of law abiding gun owners. If you sell one single smart gun, the clock will begin ticking in New Jersey so that in 3 years from the date of that sale, ONLY smart guns can be sold in our state!!! Batteries can and do die! Electronic components can and do fail! I don't like wearing the same watch everyday!!! Please stop immediately! Your company may make a few dollars from some smart gun sales but you are sure to go out of business due to the horrible publicity and the millions who WILL boycott your company. The reverse will be the case if you follow my advice!!!! The gun community will go out their way, I know I will, to buy from you and support you for making the right decision. Please heed my words! Not for the thousands who will be hurt, but for your company, which WILL FAIL!!!!

Goodnight Vlad, I also like breaking clay idols! We also refer to them as clay pidgins sometimes! I often find them at yard sales and take them to the range. Ryan makes a lot of sense here.........I agree 1,000% Due to the demographics of the PRNJ, we will most likely never be able to vote them out so we must rely on other channels! If I get RKBA restored, I could care less how I got it!!! I just care that me and my family will have a chance to survive an attack outside of my home and that I can give the local undertaker some business that I don't have to pay for!

Troy, I appeal to the admins not to move this thread! There is a lot of useful info and opinion here. This may be the the most important decision regarding 2A rights in the PRNJ in our lifetime!!!

This thread should not be sent to the 1st Amendment Lounge. But I fear that is just what will happen if we can't stay on topic here and avoid personal attacks! We are all chomping at the bit waiting for SCOTUS and naturally the anxiety level is high. In the mean time, can we all just get along???

The bill will not make it to the full Senate. It is dead for now so as to not allow Christie the bragging rights for the veto! We get to keep our 15 round mags for another year or so.

I think W2MC has it right! They know Christie will veto so why even try??? If it passed the Senate and Christie vetoed it, it would give Christie something to brag about on the stoop! So since it was never going to be law in the first place, why not kill it in the Senate and take away any brownie points that Christie would have gotten from the Veto!!! I guarantee you that this is the reason. It makes perfect sense!!!

Being Jersey residents, what can we buy there without an ffl transfer? Ammo perhaps? It's only a 30 minute drive for me! I don't want to just window shop there.

If all of the common sense the committee heard by those who testified did nothing to change anyone's vote. What good is a stupid poll they will most likely never see??? That is a South Jersey website. Try the same poll in North Jersey, The numbers may reverse. Perhaps the south should become a state of it's own and New York can take North Jersey! Then we would have a chance to be a free state.

An upper and lower parts are not considered a firearm by themselves in PRNJ but if they found you with a lower in your possession (the firearm part) then you would have all the parts needed to become Bubba's next girlfriend!

I agree that one shift will kill our chances for CCW in NJ. However, I feel strongly that if the makeup of SCOTUS remains the same when the 2A cases come up, which may be soon.....We will win!
