I currently live in Manhattan, though I will be moving to Jersey in October. My feeling is that there will be trouble, but that it will occur in the outer boroughs. Though the movie "Gangs of New York" has popped in and out of my thoughts. The NYPD is bigger, better armed and better trained than most standing armies in Europe. And despite all his faults (for which there are way to many) Bloomberg is a law and order kinda Mayor. At least I hope this is the case since by living here I have given up all rights to defend myself.

I totally disagree with you. I do not see how standing infront of a polling station with a weapon and making racial statements is not voter intimidation. And the courts agree with me, which is what made Holder dropping the case so shameful. This guy was already found guilty.

I looked into this recently as I was planning on buying a second house in the Poconos. My understanding was that you had to turn in your NJ license as well. And in order to buy a gun in PA, you will need a PA license. The good news is that you can bring your Jersey legal guns to PA and make them Jersey illegal.........so long as you keep them in PA.

If you wanted to display it, I would just put it in a frame, press it flat and hang it on the wall. The molt gets pretty brittle once it dries out and can tear fairly easily. So the goal is to keep people from touching it. So long as you do that, you shouldn't have any issues. I still have my first snake's first shed in the pages of a book.
