  1. Just got an email that they are expecting to get more in on 12/26 now! I had ordered just after 5pm on the 11/25 and even though the website said that they had a lot in stock when I ordered, they obviously sold out more than they had. Guess I won't see mine until January....
  2. Strange that one guy got it in two days, yours sent out over a week later? Others possibly will be sent out on Friday.
  3. I called today as I also ordered later in the day on the 11/25. She said that they only had 40 in-stock that day and that they were all shipped out. If you were passed the initial 40 they will send them out once they get the next shipment from Honeywell. She said they are expecting them in on 12/6.
  4. How about that you need to have qualifications to drive in the "faster" lanes? You get caught driving in the faster lanes, without proper qualification levels, you get your license suspended (and a fine to make the money that they are relying upon). If you want to drive fast do an event at New Jersey Motor Sports Park in Millville. Do an event with PDA or some other club there. Most cars can easily do in excess of 100 on the straights. Most tracks my car does just a little over 140 before I need to brake hard to make the turn, which can be anywhere from 40 to 100 mph depending on the tracks specific turn. It is much safer doing this on a track where everyone is going in the same direction and have good run-off areas, but keep in mind that you can still easily total your car if you do something really stupid!
  5. If you buy from Steve (remixer) he takes the 25 round mags and pins & glues them, so yes they have the button.
  6. Yup, you dumped the powder to measure the weight and forgot to put it back in the brass. You only fired the primer.
  7. Yep, we're going for it. All iPads fully charged and ready to go.
  8. Diesel *used* to be the least refined fuel. The bottom of the barrel, literally and figuratively. It used to be much cheaper than regular gasoline. When the change occurred back around 2007, they not only had to refine it to lower sulfur, they had to rebuild all the distribution centers too. We push fuel thru pipelines in the US and after they send a load of gasoline thru the pipes, the batch of diesel will actually pick up sulfur from the gas, so they have to refine it to something like 7-8 ppm. This is very expensive and billions had to go into updating all the delivery systems. Originally diesel was something like 2000 ppm to give you an idea of how little it used to be refined.
  9. As usual, you can thank our politicians. Now we have "clean diesel" (15 or less parts per million of sulfur) to out match the Europeans. This made it 100x more expensive to refine and distribute than if they would have chosen 30 ppm. There is actually more sulfur in gasoline at this point.
  10. I bought the $$$ electronic scale from Enos and it never worked all that well. Finally decided I needed something that was more "stable" and could weigh very light powder better. I ended up getting this and for the most part it works very well. The only issue I've had is that it starts to "drift" after awhile. I wrote to the manufacture and they said to send it to them (now that I'm done working up some loads). I'll see if they send back a good unit, but even despite that, I think it works great. Most scales only weigh to 0.1 grains. The MACK scale goes to 0.02 grains. My test loads have been much more consistent when using this scale. Here is a link to it on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Jennings-Compact-Digital-Jewelry-Scale/dp/B003ORNIJG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1384217366&sr=8-2&keywords=mack+scale

No, home heating oil is NOT more refined, it is much less. NY was trying to get HHO refined closer to road diesel, but it would jack the price way up. You could run it in old diesels, but as someone said above, the sulfur would kill the filters and the injection pump in short order in newer vehicles.
  12. Oh yeah, beaver tail. I'm thinking of what they used to put on the early 1970's Porsche 911 RSR's (they called them Duck tails). LOL
  13. I'm in. Dress WARM. Did you get the duck tail for your Glock yet?
  14. I cannot say for sure by my "guess" is that it would work just fine. You can contact Lone Wolf as they would probably know for sure. http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Products.aspx?CAT=244 They show the G34/G35 as being the same "series" of slides. I have their Long Slide gen 3 (they only make gen 3 slides) on my gen 4 G21 and it works great.
  15. You can put a gen 3 upper on a gen 4 lower, but not the opposite. There will be a little more gap with the 3 upper on the 4 lower, but functions just fine.
  16. And that is the voting population for the US. Augh, indeed...
  17. Tony, I have a Dillon 45 ACP case gauge and it would easily pass the check without getting stuck in that because the case gauges do not have rifling in them. Now I check them by putting them in the barrels instead of a case gauge. Easy to do with Glock barrels that you can remove from the gun.
  18. When I had an issue like that it was because of the OAL. Enough of the lead bullet was passed the edge of the shell that it get forced into, and stuck on the rifling of the barrel. That is why it is hard to get all the way in and why it's hard to get out after you've forced it in. You will most likely have to seat it a little further in. Check one of those bullets and you should see marks on it where it was hitting the rifling.
  19. I think Chris does. You are thinking of Alec who does the 3rd Sunday of the month event.
  20. Unfortunately no. I had a big problem with the sync function and did not want to hold up the event. Will get the issue fixed and try again in two weeks.
  21. NICE! I'm going to get there nice and early to do the primary registration on the iPad. I will find out in the morning how many squads we are running and need to split the 4 of us into different squads and hopefully can teach a few other people on-the-fly tomorrow for any extra squads.
  22. Is it different than the Hit Factor that is on the "Pistol All Divisions" results file?
  23. That is strange because our squad discussed shooting from around the bridge (instead of on it) and someone read the paper and told us that at least 1 shot had to be taken from it. Go figure?!?!?
