  1. Black River does the same, for hunter ed. Just black powder and .22. Scatter guns they do on the clay range next to the handgun pit.
  2. They'll probably issue a summons, but that would count against your hunting, and fishing privileges. 2 summons within 5 years and they suspend your fishing and hunting privileges for a couple years. Been there done that... not fun.
  3. Black River WMA has a handgun range for the CO's to practice. Not open to the public.
  4. Definitely not. No pistols permitted on state WMA ranges.
  5. Lol, last time I was at oaks I bought some too, good stuff.
  6. Make sure you get pickles from the pickle guy! Best part of the entire show.
  7. I live in NJ what's an AK? I only have non significantly identical variants lol...
  8. I'm gonna try and make it. I have a thrower and a license, as most of you already know.
  9. I had a firing pin issue with mine. But even with my minimal gun smith skill set, I was able to fix it myself with a dremel, and basic hand tools. That's after a decade of use. Probably a few thousand rounds down the barrel. Definitely a well made gun for the price.
  10. 22lbs of wings in my convection oven, can't believe they all fit.
  11. I'm going to Sussex Meat packers tomorrow for wings. Going to my sister's place. They're having 28 people over. How many lbs of wings do I need for that many heads?
  12. I don't believe the poll results, it was probably hacked by Russia. Everyone knows calling it Pork Roll is communist. That garnered Russian sympathy.
  13. That's kind of a specialized trade. You can damage the cast iron plate or the bridge on the soundboard if you don't know what you're doing. Plus adjusting the dampeners isn't easy either. I've watched my old man do it enough times to know you definitely need some formal training to get it right. Especially if you're dealing with an expensive piano like he's talking about. Playing around with an old grammar school upright is one thing. But when you're talking about a piece costing thousands, just let a pro do it.
  14. Personally I think if there is any chance of this bill passing, it will only be with concessions made that basically gut anything that will allow us to carry on a non resident permit. Just my opinion.
  15. I've been waiting a long time for a situation where this meme was appropriate. Here it is... you earned it today Angelo...
  16. They went on the 17th and returned the same day. They didn't stay the night. But Hudson did actually use some NJ2AS suggestions in the original roll out of the bill on the 3rd. Alexander has been in contact with his office since June. And had made a lot of suggestions they did use and incorporate into the original roll out. He had to wait till the 3rd just like the rest of us to see how it was worded. That's when he made an appointment for the 17th with his staff to ask for more additional information to be added. So it's not a lie. And if the magazine re wording is also incorporated before the bill goes to a vote great. If not, can't say NJ2AS didn't try their hardest to make it happen.
  17. He read this post. And in disbelief of what he was reading, even after he provided visual photographic proof of meeting with the NC representatives legal bill writing council. Said "do they want copies of my toll receipts?", and messaged them to me... I believe he went, I know he did. First it was a question of whether he met with them or spoke on the phone with them. I post a picture, and now it's well he may have met with them but he didn't meet with the representative himself, which he did. And what he spoke to them about wasn't in the rewording of the bill from the 3rd of January. Yeah because he met with them on the 17th to ask that they further include magazine, and ammo wording as well into the text of the proposed bill. If they include the suggestions NJ2AS made or not is yet to be seen, but at least they're thinking about it now, before the bill gets voted on without those changes. What other NJ based 2A group went to DC on behalf of all gun owners in the state, and asked for any clarifications to be mentioned? None that I'm aware of. The guy goes on his own time for our benefit, and is ridiculed for it? I don't understand the way half the guys on this forum think sometimes honestly...
  18. Could be photo shopped... except he showed me the toll receipts from the trip.
  19. Can't blame you, anything to the east is lousy in my opinion. I only tolerate the North West corner of the state myself. Until I can get out all together in the future.
  20. Everything south of 78 is Ocean County to me.
  21. You are correct. My mistake. Still doesn't negate the fact that you kiss your cousin, and wrongfully refer to Taylor ham as pork roll though. Hahhahah... Didn't realize ocean had that large of a population either. All I've ever done in that county is wear my shoes on the boardwalk, and toss my McDonald's trash out the window on the side of the roads so it looks more like my part of Jersey... [emoji1]
