  1. We can carry outside NJ with An out of state resident CCW permit that happen to reciprocate with many other "free America" states. Unfortunately you are correct about carrying in this state, without "justifiable need" you can't carry here. What justifiable need actually is? No one really knows for sure the state refuses to define it. Up to the judge handling the application. No one really ever gets one, so I don't know anyone that has one to ask what their justifiable need was. Take the Utah and Florida class then you can also carry in free Murica. 2. I would be interested in one also at That price for a billet lower. Would be crazy not to buy one. Blemishes don't affect performance. Nothing a coat of paint couldn't fix. I polish the insides of most of my lowers before I assemble them anyway. No big deal to scuff and re spray the outside in the booth for me. Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!!
  3. Wow this guy should be selling golf clubs instead of guns. That's pitiful business as well as anti-American practices. Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!!
  4. ^^^^ imagine that happened at Cherry Ridge? (Not that they rent guns anyway) The RO's wouldnt be able to talk for weeks after all the screaming hahhaha! Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!!
  5. "LIABILITY" For the same reason my insurance company forced me to fence in my entire backyard for a 4'deep above ground swimming pool. Someone could commit suicide in it. Im sure the 4.5' high chain link fence will work to keep that from happening. Maybe it will because the only person that could jump into my pool and kill themselves by drowning other than a child who couldn't reach the ladder and un lock it, would be an Oompa Loompa. A 4.5' fence should keep their Slippery chocolate covered fingers from getting to my pool. Did I mention I live a block away from the largest lake in NJ. But Farmers Insurance company is worried someone will tie a concrete block to their legs and off themselves in my pool. Exactly the reason ranges that rent guns should have checks and balances. For liability reasons, some family member of the suicide victim will try and sue the range for the loss of their loved one. Blaming the range for allowing it to happen. First time gun buyers or If you don't have any guns yet, and that makes you angry that the range owners have to protect their means to feed their own families. Pretty one sided thinking and selfish. How would you like it if you were in the port plinking away, and the dude with a rental walks in next to you and blows his brains out? There not singling any one out to be dicks they're protecting their ass'es. Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!!
  6. I live in Sussex county and I shoot my bow in the back yard all the time. Have for years. The law for hunting is: "bow hunting is not permitted within 150' from any frequently visited building, unless WRITTEN permission has been obtained prior to hunting". " bow hunting is not permitted within 450' of any school, playground/ball feild" That can include a house, shed or garage, and any other type of out building, as they are all by definition "frequently visited buildings". But with written permission from the owners of those frequently visited buildings your good to go. Thats how I get to bow hunt from my back deck. The neighbors are cool with it. When I do practice in the yard im shooting from an elevated position and i use my concrete block garage as a backstop. If your neighbor's are douche bags and they have a building within 150' of your proposed shooting area they could call the cops and mess with your life a bit if you don't have written consent from them. 7. Im a member at RTSP and have bought a few glocks there. Good selection and great prices for members. They ordered a revolver I wanted once. And they will hold a gun for you with a deposit if your a member. Ramsay Outdoor has a shelf of glocks in stock at the Succunanna location on Rt. 10 I was just there. Simon Peter in Andover/Newton also has some glocks in stock. Or you could go the gun broker route. To answer your other question: NJ doesn't require any permits for Long guns just a Fire Arms ID card. For hand guns you must have a FIDcard, go to your local PD or state police headquarters and apply for a permit to purchase a handgun. Once you pay, fill out paperwork, and provide two refrences, they issue the permit to you (usually takes a few weeks depending on the town) you've got 90 days to buy what you want. And you can only by law purchase one handgun every 30 days. Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!!
  8. Make sure you don't lie on the form! what ever it asks be honest. Even if you make an honest mistake and they catch it they will prosecute you for falsifying a state document. And yes they look at your juvenile record as well. My brother-in-law was charged with falsifying a state document because he shoplifted at 15 years old and was ajudicated a juvenile delinquent. He checked NO on that question. Cost a lot of $ in lawyers to clear that problem up. Best bet is to have your adult and juvenile records expunged and sealed before applying. You can do that yourself without a lawyer if you've got the time to figure out the paperwork process. But probably easier to pay a lawyer to do it for you. Have them fill out your FID card application with you too, worth the money not to catch a bogus charge for a simple error. Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!!
  9. http://www.njgunforums.com/forum/index.php?/topic/39120-Winchester-White-Box-(Walmart-Easton-PA-purchases)-lengthy. Your correct it was last year, I still laugh when I read this thread. Should be in the funniest of all time category of this forum. Its only funny because no one was killed some how. The OP of that thread and his buddies must have been eating lead paint chips for a while before thinking this was a good idea. Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!!

  11. I nominate " I had to throw my gun over the wall to clear the jammed round" On second thought maybe that wasn't so laughable, more like scary. Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!!

  13. You are correct sir. I misunderstood what he told me. He said he called and they said once they fix it they will send it back clean with extra mags. Thought he told me they sent it back already. He hasn't gotten it back as of yet either. He did however confirm they will be sending it to his house directly. Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!!
  14. BTW that pipe isn't called Orangeburg, Orangeburg Pipe foundry is the company in Orangeburg NY that made the pipe, and they made many different types of pipe than just Betuminus fiber. That pipe is betuminus fiber pipe, could be any brand not just Orangeburg. Thats like calling every car on the road a Chevy. Probably either an old gray water dry well, roof drainage/sump pit drainage. Or possibly an old private building waste system (or septic to the laymen). Chances are it wasn't ever used for waste pipe though, atleast it shouldn't have been. Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!!

  16. Don't worry Jets fans your team will manage to let you down by or during the playoffs. They've been consistent at that feat for the past 40 something years. Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!!
  17. I shot once there with a friend a few years ago. I never went there before that day. Nor had I ever been to a range that made you flag your gun when you lay it down action open without magazine. So I forget to stick the stupid flag in the gun once. The range master instead of a nice reminder like " hey buddy please don't forget your flag next time" he instead starts screaming at me like im a 10 year old kid. What a bunch of douche bags that that place employs. Rather than yelling back or acting like an asshole back I just packed up left and never returned. I like my Membership at RTSP better anyway. Wish the range was a bit longer but atleast they treat you nicely. Cherry Ridge will never see a dime from me ever. Been invited by a few different friends that are members and I've declined. Hand cannons

I bought a 500 6" barrel in anticipation of doing an Alaskan hunting trip in the future. Don't want to go without a show stopper. The fear of a .50 ban made up my mind to buy it this year. I took it to the range emptied one wheel at about $10 that was enough for me lol. No I didn't enjoy shooting it that much it hurt my hand. Maybe I would like it more loaded with wadd cutters? They make one with a 4" barrel, wonder how that feels? Maybe I should have got the .454 instead. Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!!
  20. We have one right now. Not sure when it expires. It was part of one of the bills Christy signed into law back in August. Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!!
  21. I'm interested in the trigger and bolt. Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!!
  22. I'm going to drop in a timiney trigger, arch Angel stock, get a bent bolt, add a rail and some optics. All reversible if I want to bring it back to original. Its not a hex barrel receiver, nothing on the gun has the same numbers the whole reason I bought it. But the bore is excellent & Russian. Ive got a 91/30 and every number is same bolt, magazine door, butt plate, barrel. I'm keeping that one original. The M44 I picked out specifically to tear it apart and make a fun to shoot gun out of. A stock Mosin is heavy and a pain in the balls to load stripper clips. Cool to look at not fun in my opinion to lug around or shoot. I'll look at the 91/30 and use the M44. I wouldn't mind owning an original sniper if i can find one. Last show I was at had one with hex receiver and original scope not reproduction, they wanted $700. Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!!
  23. I got two at a gun show two weeks ago. 91/30 all numbers matching and an M44 I plan to sporterize. Both guns together less than $400 with NICS and tax. Spend a Saturday roaming the tables you'll find what your looking for at the right price. Stick with Russian made if possible. Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!!

  25. One of my favorite rides as well. Just when you get to the intersection of maxim drive and turn left thats actually Lackawanna drive. Maxim is a right. Go left on Lackawanna to Roseville Rd. They just paved that road this week I rode it yesterday its sweet. Just watch out for byram Twp's finest they love to sit between North Jersey Auto Wreckers and the first tunnel. Got nailed there more than once. I also highly recommend Limecrest Rd. I love my CBR on the section past the quary. Sweet road. Just slow down over the train tracks or you will catch air!
