Saw this last night, did you see christies comment, I've put it below, now with Murphy who knows what happens. Even Christie, a Republican who has pardoned a number of out-of-state residents caught up in New Jersey's strict gun laws, is against the change. Christie said it's a state's rights issue that the federal government should stay out of.

Don't need something listening / recording 24/7 in my home..even though I think the smart phones already do. Does anybody really know what these things do or don't do? We're getting where tech is running more and more of our lives, can't even imagine what my kids will have in 20-30 years.

Looking to get myself a gift, a shotgun, maybe a Mossberg 500 or similar. Many years ago shot a friends Benelli. Not sure which model. Don't want to go with that yet. Haven't shot a shotgun in years. If I went with a Mossberg for range and or HD (hope never to need it) What would you guys recommend for ammo and or shotgun.

Sorry if I'm off base, But, They should be..Someday it might be them. With more people moving south to warmer climates, like Florida and the Carolinas, might happen to them. Isn't Florida where most New Yorkers go, they might be first.

As passed by the committee, the law would treat a concealed-carry permit like a driver’s license, allowing individuals permitted by any one state to carry a concealed gun into any other, regardless of the discrepancies between the states’ permitting criteria. Each state would still be allowed to determine those criteria for its own citizens and all permit holders would be required to abide by local laws.

If anyone is interested this is a link to a live Eagle nest in Florida. My kids and I watched the eagles just about every night from the time they laid eggs to the eggs hatching, feeding, till the hatchlings grew and left the nest. I work in little ferry by the Con Ed plant near the river Last year about this time 2 nested in the trees. Most have had 2 babies. Found it strange with the cold weather. If I could find photos I took will post.
