Lawyers... They are the majority profession In politics.. They write the laws, they prosecute those who break the law, then defend those that broke the law & finally they sit in judgement of the law.. Seems like they have all the bases covered.. Power, Control & of coarse $$$$ Now please don’t take this that I have anything against lawyers...

Several years ago my father unexpectedly came over to my home with an old army dufflbag that he found while cleaning out the attic. My parents were in the process of moving to a new house. The dufflebag had my full name and social security number stenciled on it (for those not in the know, the army made you do that with your social security number decades ago) He said look what I found in the attic. I opened the bag and found an LBE with two magazine pouches mixed in with some uniforms and other stuff.. In the mag pouches were 6 mags for an M16... 30 round mags that were left forgotten in his attic for about 30 years.. At least the 2 1911 mags found were legal...

If your that paranoid about it, you could ship them USPS using their 24 hour kiosk before Monday. Then you’ve technically shipped them prior to the deadline.. It’s not like you’re shipping a crate of loaded mags.. Nobody is coming after you for shipping a box of mags to comply with the law, unless they want you for something else that’s criminal..

I doubt very many USPS, UPS & Fedex personnel are aware of what a non compliant magazine is..

Only once to McConnell on reciprocity .. I admit I haven’t done enough with it.. I gave my take why I thought he wasn’t moving with it.. He usually doesn’t bring bills to the floor for a vote unless he already has spoken to the other Republican Senators to know if he has the votes to pass it

Senate session is over December 14.. Those bills are going nowhere.. Our only hope will be if SCOTUS takes a case like Hawaii’s...

It’s not hard, not disagreeing with that part of it.. Everyone should call, but the reality is those bills have got less than a month to pass before they’re gone.. Just my take on why McConnell isn’t acting on them..

Don’t think national reciprocity is going anywhere.. Either House bill H.R. 38, which passed the house and is stalled somewhere in the senate or Senate bill S446, which I believe hasn’t made it out of the Judiciary Committee. Either the Republicans don’t want the heat from the Democrat liberals, as in protests and confrontations in restaurants, etc, or they don’t have the votes, as in not all Republicans on board behind the scenes, because they’re in swing states and don’t want to risk re-election. McConnell doesn’t bring bills to a vote, unless he has the votes..

This is just the one of the many laws they devised to chip away at gun ownership.. They are probably thinking that they screwed up and should have made it 5 rounds based on the majority ruling of the 3 Circuit Court...

You’re right.. They wouldn’t bother with just the magazines alone... It would only be used in conjunction with some other weapons or drug charge, where a search warrant was used and they wanted to tack on as many charges as possible..
