Sunday, August 30th start time 9am

 

2 Man Sniper Challenge - Cost is $50.00 per team.

 

Round Count - Up to 25 pistol and 80 rifle

 

Weapons - Each member will need a center-fire handgun with holster. Spotter will need a semi auto carbine i.e. - AR/AK/Mini 14 platform. Shooter will need an optics enhanced semi-auto or bolt rifle. Slings for rifles. No incendiary, AP, or stell penetrator ammo.

 

Gear - You will carry everything you need. Shooting will involve movement and props. When not in use, weapons will be holstered, slung or in a pack/drag bag. This is NOT a bench match. Law Enforcement are encouraged to use their duty/tactical set ups.

 

Information - You can drop an email to pre-register. So we can stagger the starts so wait time will be reduced. Any questions, contact Joe at [email protected]. Shooters will remain at club house until called to shoot.

there's also a monthly 'sniper shoot' which is a walkthrough type with multiple targets engaged from specified areas as well as a monthly 'practical' idpa-type shoot that's been getting more and more turnout.

the course was divided into 2 stages: the first 10 stages on the rifle range with various shots at ranges out to 300 yards from multiple positions; the second was a variety of short-range stages on the pistol range with both rifle and pistol engagements.

that looks like it would be really fun to do, i would even enjoy just volunteering at something like that, it's about a 2 and half hour drive from where I live. i did just order a couple EOTech t-shirts some of the staff are wearing as seen in the pictures and the video at 3:36.
