Wow, I can't believe how hard these are to find!!

 

Looks like a 14 week wait from AA. Any local shops happen to have one in stock?

Is anyone actually placing these 12 week backorders & getting the conversion kits within that time frame?

 

With online ordering in general, my general experience has been that when a site indicates it will be months before they will even consider charging you for the order, the end result is usually a fruitless wait that ends with an e-mail indicating your backorder has been cancelled because they simply aren't going to be able to fill it.

I got lucky and found one on another forum.. even came with an extra mag. Last time I checked the availability of the AA kits, they were supposedly coming out with a new batch in September. Guess that didn't happen since you're saying 12+ weeks now. Crazy. Good piece of kit tho. It definitely likes the higher velocity .22s. Had a few FTEs with standard velocity rounds, which was to be expected.
