Trigger guard roll pin re-usable??

Hey guys,

 

Is the roll pin for the trigger guard re-usable?? I will be knocking out the pin to replace the standard trigger guard with an extended one. Can I reuse the same pin, or should I order another one?? FYI, I installed the first trigger guard myself, so the roll pin has been tapped in with an unprofessional touch :roll:

Yes, just knock it out as straight as possible. Also make sure you have good support by the "ear" on the receiver. I know a few guys who broke them off due to no support.

 

I use a piece of wood on both sides for support. If you do mushroom it and it won't go back in you can pick one up in almost any hardware store that carries small parts in the pull out trays.

 

It's called a roll or spring pin.
