Prices dropping

Just looking at Cabela's circulars. Sub $1g on some ARs, $100 off Sigs. I guess the run is slowing down. How far do you think they come down? Considered the 1st ones I ever looked at were $1500 $900 seems like a steal.

The industry slowed like someone pulled a light switch. The demand has dried up now leaving those who bought up everything in sight with a loss.

 

I remember seeing a picture of a guy with more than a few AR15's saying they were better than a CD. Unless his timing was spot on he lost his shirt.

 

Dealers around here have more AR's then they can display with few takers. Every one and their brother is or was in that business and the supply way outstripped demand. Reloading components seem to be the only item that isn't entirly caught up but it's getting much better than last year.

I remember last Dec not seeing an AR on the shelves for more then 5 minutes and now I see them sitting around a few weeks.

not to mention the entire economy has taken a shit, with unemployment in the double digits. no one has any extra money to buy more guns anyway. i havent worked since may. only this week am i going to finally start a job. for maybe 2 months.

Actually that was a surprising good price. It surprised me as it was printed in a newspaper ad. I'm guessing the shop got caught with a lot in stock and needs to move them quickly.
