GUN SHOW

Recommended Posts

Were there any actual guns there? I went to that one once, it was a lot of WW2 and other military stuff, knives and whatnot. But since this is NJ no guns were for sale at the show. IIRC someone did have some (overpriced) M1s and Mausers that you could look at--

Average attendance is 130-150. Alot of gunners and alot of guns. NO hand guns. But I would say 35 shotguns. 35 rifles- all calibers. bayos, swords, I picked up a Randall in trade. sold a kimber 22 and 2 garands. Picked up a 7mm winchester with a burris scope, bolt action for 400.

Some guys just don't know.

I live in Jax and went to that show last year, in the fall, maybe Sept/Oct, there was ammo for sale, .30-06 HXP bagged in ziplocs, I think, and some other stuff. Lots of memorabilia and paraphenalia. There were guns you could look at but not buy on premise, you had to go back and get them later from the sellers location. Perhaps as an FFL you were able to buy them, but IIRC, the public was not. Perhaps there were guns and ammo for sale at this one on premise, or there were different vendors this time, I dunno. Maybe I will stop by the next one to see if things have improved.
