What to buy for the Marine soon to be deployed?

I really like the razor blade suggestion and baby wipes. My aunt told me last night that he is going to be stationed on a boat so I'm guessing that baby wipes might not be the most useful item. Since he is on a boat he is also restricted as to what he can bring with him.

 

But thank you everyone for the great suggestions. I might need to go buy that Leatherman MUT for myself...

A boat I would get a him a jug of wipes, but a ship, no.

I had the medium but I would have got the larger one

if I had the choice.
