Hungarian SA 85M post ban or SA 2000M question

Anyone know if these AK variants are NJ legal? They have no bayo lug or threaded barrel. These were orginally imported by KBI in Harrisburg, PA.

SA85M, is one of the best AK variants made, get this is one and is NJ legal

SA2000M is imported by TGI(imported as a single stack and gets converted in US to double stack) as AMD65 and needs to be converted to NJ legal

You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer rifle than the FEG SA85. It was my first or second ak, got it at Harry's for about $200 in 89. I know that they've been making postbans for some time. Do they still come with the blond furniture?

Yes they do. Price went up a little since then. LOL

I think the stop importing the SA85M since the mid 90's

What you see now is people selling their own rifles(you can still find some NIB)

You can still get them for $600+ if you look around

Another great option for a high quality AK variant is the MAK 90 (made by Polytech & Norinco). You can definitely find them on gunbroker. I don't know about the Hungarian variants, but the MAK 90 has a chromed barrel & bolt. Those are just my $.02

Thanks for the info guys, I am gonna keep my eyes open for a sa 85m post-ban. The hungarian thing is just a personal preference for me as it is my org. family heritage.
