DJNEB 1 Posted April 25, 2011 just curious though i probably already know the answer. i know there are ak style rifles, ar style, etc that are nj legal even though the specific firearm is banned in nj. i was curious if there were any such thing as an nj legal fin fal style semi auto rifle. the fin fal is banned under "fn fal" so i was curious if anyone knows any nj legal fin fal style rifles that would be nj legal? Vlad G 345 Posted April 26, 2011 I think I've seen the DSA clones in stores. The issue is price, DSA FAL pattern rifles are stupid expensive for what they are. I would lean towards one of the AR-10/SR-25 pattern rifles, a lot more support for them now.
DJNEB 1 Posted April 26, 2011 thanks for the response, any idea what the AR-10 price is and where i might obtain an nj legal one?
lunker 274 Posted April 26, 2011 Another option are the HK91 style rifles (in 7.62x51/308). Type in PTR91 in google. I have the PTR32 (in 7.62x39) and it is an excellent rifle. Super accurate too.
Pew Pew Plates 358 Posted April 26, 2011 If you just want a 308 MBR, since they are all silly expensive, go for a PTR-91. they are closer to a FAL than an AR-10 is. Or an m1a...classic.
halbautomatisch 60 Posted April 26, 2011 DSA SA 58 without a bayonet lug, flash suppressor or threaded barrel is a NJ legal FAL clone. They are not cheap, but are top quality. If you have the cash, buy one, you won't regret it.
lunker 274 Posted April 27, 2011 CDNN has a special on two of the DSA SA58's. http://us2.campaign-archive1.com/?u=99c3876c30b42968d4190988b&id=cd28ea6371&e=661b6c682c
