Col. Mortimer 11 Posted May 24, 2011 I like the Firestorm in .22LR as a plinker. I have read sone good things about them. What's your actual experience? Gun snobs that don't like them but have never tried one, please don't post.
Aleshka 0 Posted May 24, 2011 I have Bersa Thunder 380 for a couple of years now. Overall a nice variation of Walther PP/PPK family. From the quality point of view I had an issue with the disconnector spring that made me send it for warranty repair 3 times. If you google the Bersa Thunder 380 and disconnector spring you'd see that it is rather common. But the customer service is good. I am not sure if I can trust my life to this but on the other hand I do not believe in selling firearms unless absolutely necessary All together I have about 500 rounds through it. djg0770 481 Posted May 24, 2011 Thunder 380 owner here. Bought it used from PK90. The slide lock needs to be replaced on mine, otherwise, it's fine. I had a problem with lips - mag lips that is, once I finessed the mag lips back into spec I no longer had a problem with failure to feed. I have two aftermarket mags now that I have no problem with either. The double action trigger is LONG. The single action trigger is (almost frighteningly) light. For the price, I would buy another, and after a few hundred rounds (as with any gun) trust my life to it.
