1911 videos

An absolute longshot, but I am wondering if anyone has the videos on building a 1911 that they might be willing to let a complete stranger borrow? I am completely obsessed with finding out how they work from inside out and since I am a visual learner, I think the vids would be great. However, the price for all 3 is a little daunting, quite honestly.

Have you looked at youtube, there are plenty of 1911 videos from basic field stripping to complete take-down, and everything in between.

I have. I'm looking at building one and need info a little more in depth than those.

Take a look at Brownells youtube site. They have some fairly advanced videos on installing upgrade parts.
