Sticky Ammo

I have a box reloaded loose ammo I just opened after a few years and the ammo is all sticky. I don't want to shoot with it because it will most likely jam up the gun. anyone ever have this issue before? Is there anyway to fix it. thanks

Were these, by any chance, swaged or cast lead bullets stored in a "warm" environment? If so, you are experiencing melted lube. Wipe each round with a rag and, providing it didn't leach internally and contaminate the powder charge, you should be OK. Do about ten and try them. BTW, take a knock-out rod to the range with you and shoot slowly. Hear something that doesn't sound right - STOP and examine.

where they were stored the temperatures fluctuated. Just a plan rag with nothing on it will do?

That should do it. The fewer liquids you get around loaded ammo the better
