Nice.. keeping it simple to start and learn the basics (ie. Irons) is the way to go.

 

Too many add a RDS (Red Dot Sight) 1st thing and then can't shoot with 'irons'

Good to know! What kind of ammo do you recommend? I hope to shoot it ASAP and I have some of the following that I bought on a whim:

Ive put a bunch of different ammo through it so far and its eaten it all without a single problem. I mostly run Sliver Bear through it, but have also used Wolf, xm193, xm855 and even a few rounds of xm856 (tracers). The 5.56 stuff is fun at night with the 14.5" barrel and the dynacomp, Ill have to try to find the vid of me shooting mine at night.

I finally got to try it out this weekend with the ammo I mentioned above. I had zero issues.
