30 Carbine (M1)

Is it legal to own 30 M1 Carbine ammo? Isnt the .30 M1 Carbine banned in NJ? Does that mean the ammo is too?

ammo still O-K, and you can shoot it in a Ruger single-action blackhawk-styled six-gun! In .30 carbine caliber!

If you stumbled onto some old ammo in magazines, make sure that the mags are only ten rounders (or 15 rounders if they've been altered) , as 30 round mags will get you into trouble here in the PRNJ!

 

But loose .30 carbine ammo can be sold or had by the truck load!

Thanks guys, all the clips are 10 rounders. I've been sitting on over 500 or these for years not knowing what to do with them. Glad to hear they are legal. Now I need a gun that can shoot them.

Check-out the Blackhawk like I mentioned above. It will give-off a muzzle flash though, since the ammo was designed for a carbine rifle.....but it's a HOOT to shoot, lol!
