Help with holster choice

I have a full size Springfield XD .40 and I've been looking at all the different holsters out there and have kinda decided on the Crossbreed for IWB and Serpa for OWB. I figured I'd ask people here before I buy. Does anyone carry a full size XD or full size pistol with either one of these holsters. Does the Serpa stay tight to your body or hang out to the side. Also, I see there is about half a dozen different styles of Serpa and I don't know which way to go. I dont need tactical and I'm not doing any combat courses, I just want to carry when I head over to America. Any input is appreciated.

I carry my XD's (full size and sub compact) with a crossbreed "style" holster for IWB and love it. 3-4 o'clock is nice.

 

I'm waiting on a Bravo Concealment OWB with pancake tabs for both. That will be my first attempt at OWB carry. Got them in prep for winter and multi layers of clothing.
