comparable to a Case XX

Hello all,

 

I love my Case XX smooth bones. Docs,Toothpicks, love em all. But I'm looking for something comparable that I can take in the field, and not worry about value loss from sharpening, beating up, or heaven forbid, lose (never done that lol). I have seen Hen& Rooster, Kissing Crane and the like but have always owned Case.

 

Any suggestions on a quality folder comparable to a Case?

 

Also are Rough Riders POS?

Try Boker, some of their knives still have the high carbon blades.

Not sure what you're asking for. Case makes some more budget priced knives in their yellow handled knives. I carry my slimline trapper everyday and use it outdoors. At $29, if I lose, break, or wear it out, I'll just buy another.

I just found a case xx knife in a old box of mine

Had no idea they were even popular. Good looking heavy knife. It has 6265ss Stamped on it
