I don't have any arbitrary limit, but I believe fully in the "less is more" philosophy. Particularly for handguns. I am pretty lucky if I get 2 hours of range time in every month. Most months it is one hour. I'm not much of a collector, so a gun that sees the light of day once a year is not very appealing to me. I would rather have 10,000 rounds down the pipe of one pistol than 1,000 down each of ten different ones.

 

If I ever get to move somewhere that I can walk out the back door into my 30 acres and shoot anytime I want, my position will likely change drastically.

This. I dont think its fair for my wife to have entire closet of shoes, but I sometimes hear shit for the amount of guns I have that are significantly less.
