front sight ruger mkiii 22/45

Going to join an indoor range and the old eyes are not what they used to be. Read some reviews on the Hi Viz and some say that the tube is really thick so it's hard to do any precise shooting. Any comments or recommendations.

The fiber optic sights Ruger sells ( Hi-viz?) Work nicely with standard Mark II/III.

I have a 22/45 and was thinking of using some white or day glow light green nail polish on the sights. I think I read on this forum that someone did that to one of their firearms.

I'm thinking about this one from Dawson. I have the sevingy on my glocks and this seems to match well.

I was thinking about doing something like that also. They sell glow in the dark paint in small bottles.

this looks good, tube is nice an thin hi viz is .08 and this is only .04 but does not have replacement tubes

I ordered them and it comes with replacement tubes, both red and yellow. Big improvement over the standard sights.
