wink-_-wink 1 Posted March 19, 2013 Alright, so my parents found my shotgun hunting permit from when I complete the class when I was 10. My dad said that means I should be in the system and am covered for hunting. I am looking into getting a crossbow and getting a license in that but the website is sort of confusing. I have to retake the course? or do I just pay a fee? I am just interested in learning a new form of shooting and eventually attempting to take down a deer... again I haven't had hunters ed in nearly 20 years so I really dont know my next step. HardCorr 0 Posted March 19, 2013 I don't think there will be a fee, only when you get your license. But you will need to complete the book, take the written and take the bow part of the test. When I took the test I only did shotgun and rifle, so if I wanted to bow hunt I would have to take what I mentioned up top. If your going to get the bow portion of your license get the rifle while your at it.
HardCorr 0 Posted March 19, 2013 Also, you have to bring your own bow for the actual portion of the test. They have rifles for your to shoot (black powder and .22)
