Long wait time for Kimber to come in

I ordered a Kimber Pro Covert almost two months ago. It still has not come in. My buddy had a Baretta and an M&P Pro about a week after I did. Has anyone else experienced long wait es for guns to come in?

why does it take so long?

is it a custom order or something?

My FFL tells me they have orders with Kimber that are a year old, they come in when they come in with no notice of what they are getting or when.

Special orders with Kimber are almost impossible to predict. I believe that they do batch runs. Your gun will ship when the batch of them gets built. I would personally call around or go the GB route.
