I don't understand why people like to make such a big deal out of kovalchuk contract when there are many players who have just as lucrative if not more lucrative contracts.

 

I'm not saying it is or isn't worth it. Just don't know why someone was acting like the rangers were the only team that has high paid players.

You can't blame Marty for letting in 1 goal, the problem is we're putting 25+ shots on goal consistently and out shooting and playing every team we face but can't seem to make the puck hit the back if the net. Even though the devils ending there season this way saddens me, what really gets under my skin is all the people who claim to be "fans" but in a time of hardship turn there back on the team an say they suck, or say that the whole team needs to be fired and replaced by better younger talent while this time last year these "fans" couldn't get enough of these same players.

Marty is one of the few players I'm not angry with. Kovalchuck, Larsson, and maybe Hedberg as well.

 

I'm curious to see where PDB is next year. I'm not entirely blaming him though.

Larsson is a talented young Defenceman who I feel has made his way into PDB's dog house for some reason, he's played less games than kovey and he's been out for almost a month. As for kovey the guy got hurt its the nature of the game, while he was healthy he had 27 points in 32 games, that's not to shabby. As for moose I like him but I do believe it's time for some young blood in the goaltending area.

How in the hell are you upset with Kovy?? He seems to be the only reason the Devils got as far as they did this season.

I think Larsson will be a good player in this league. He needs time to evolve into an NHL player. He is only 20 years old lol I hope Devs fans don't treat him like Dumb NYR fans treat Del Zotto. They tried to run a 21 year old, top scoring defensemen on our team out of town cause he's not a Norris Trophy winning defender.

 

As for PDB I think he'll be fine. The guy had his hall of fame goalie and top 10 offensive talent out for extended periods of time. Not to mention the other talent that left for Minny last summer.
