Baikal /Remigton SPR310 choke thread problem

I have a Remigton/Baikal Spartan sp310. I have been having some issues threading chokes into gun. Very hard to turn in like threads are wrong. No damage to threads. Anybody having problems with the Remington Spr chokes for this gun.

worn chokes are said to be difficult to thread and a sign of replacement needed.are the threads in the gun clogged with debris try using a good solvent or break clean

Cleaned it up real good w brake clean. Ill try the newest choke and see if its old threads. Thanks.

I have the same gun. Russian thread, not SAE. I replaced my choke tubes with aftermarket ones and never looked back. If you want me to, after the house wakes-up, I'll look to see who makes them.
