Any interest in Barrett .50 BMG Lowers?

Would you buy a "stripped" Barrett receiver in 50 BMG

I recently spoke with Barrett about the possibility of procuring low cost serialized .50 BMG components, e.g., the complete stripped lower receiver or just the mag well. I know I don't have $8,000 to drop on one at the moment, but I have always dreamed about owning one (at one point, I was actually bidding on them when I was a little more flush with cash).

Who would be interested in this type of product?

I'd be interested dependant on price.

I'll also point out that there are a ton of 50 BMG uppers for ar15 lowers. The Barrett however is semi auto and the uppers are usually bolt action single shot.

You all compete with each other to sell them to me at the lowest price in a hurried rush. :)

Hey, you gotta laugh now and then or we'd be crying all the time.
