Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good guide or book where i can learn more about the different types of ammunition and loads, etc. I am not trying to do any reloading, just trying to educate myself on the topic. I see so many types of bullets with differen loads, casings, and projectiles, and aside from the obvious, i don't have much of a clue. As always, thanks for the help.

Also, the front section of most reloading manuals (I favor the Speer manuals) have a ton of information on cartridges and components--useful stuff, even if you never use the load data for anything.

Took a quick look at ammoguide. Looks like a great site if you reload. I will take a look at some of the reloading books also thanks guys.
