Utah CCW question

Recommended Posts

I am thinking of taking the GFH Utah class this week before the NJ2AS meeting or Heritage Guild next Sunday. I am wondering since the turn around time is aprox 60+ days, what if I move in the time that I'm waiting for it to come back?

I could be moving out of state by then, all depends if and when we sell our farm.

Is it possible to have the address changed while being processed if need be?

If you move to a state that has an agreement with Utah (like PA), you will need that state's CCW first (Utah law) and file a copy with your application.  I believe you have up to one year after taking the course to file the application. Utah's law states the permit will be issued within 60 days.  However, if final checks by FBI, etc. are returned late and disqualify you, Utah will mail you a letter suspending your CCW.
