Sharrie*1 1 Posted August 8, 2013 Looks like they have a new deal this month...don't know about the safe's quality, but the specs look good...and $200 off. Anyone ever heard of these? http://www.costco.com/.product.100055246.html
iCARRY 0 Posted August 8, 2013 I think they will charge sales tax on that safe because its listed as a vault, not a gun safe
Sharrie*1 1 Posted August 8, 2013 I did not pay sales tax on my Bighorn safe.

Anyone ever heard of these? http://www.costco.com/.product.100055246.html That is a re branded big horn but it has some additional features, the bighorn equivalent 19ecb doesn't have top and bottom locking bolts and the inside bolts are not active locking. This one is a nice upgrade for the price difference and the storage setup is nice having the guns in rows verse half circle standard setup.
RubberBullets 65 Posted August 8, 2013 door organizer and outlet/usb ports are a plus
iCARRY 0 Posted August 8, 2013 I did not pay sales tax on my Bighorn safe. You didn't pay sales tax on the big horn cause its listed as a "gun safe" the other one is a "vault" which will be taxed. I don't get it, but that's what the state does.

Sharrie*1 1 Posted August 9, 2013 Icarry, Thanks for the info. I had no idea that there was no tax on a gun safe in NJ. I just figured since it was done thru Bighorn, that somehow it was exempt...thanks again
