ChrisJM981 924 Posted January 25, 2016 I'd say ask Fishpaw, as he's big into beltfed guns, but I don't think he's active on the forum. Maybe send him an email.

Oakridgefirearms 224 Posted January 30, 2016 Your best bet is join the 1919A4 forum and see if John McGuire from Tennessee is still building them. He has a reputation for excellent 1919 builds. http://1919a4.com/forum.php?
jeff47 30 Posted January 31, 2016 John McGuire posted a few months ago that he was still building, I think it's $500 with your kit and side plate. At current market price for kits (~$1200) you're looking at $1800-$2k. But this should give you great resale value. Not sure what Atlantic is changing. Oakridgefirearms 224 Posted February 1, 2016 If you can get John Mcguire to build one, go that route, he does excellent work. His guns run like a champ.
mipafox 438 Posted February 6, 2016 These are not ARs. You need to learn how they work and headspace them regularly. If you want to run links you should get a protector. Lots of little things like that. Oh, and you can be killed cleaning the weapon. http://1919a4.com/showthread.php?47762-WARNING-TO-ALL-My-drive-rod-spring-accident It's very helpful to team up with a local buddy to learn the ins and outs. Plenty of 1919A4 owners in Jersey, go to the forum as suggested.
fishnut 2,358 Posted February 6, 2016 Ouch! I've had my fair share of staples and I'm not looking for more. Thanks guys bUT I've gone in a different direction. Gonna buy 2 guns instead of 1 1919a4. I'll learn more about them and then I will get it in the future.

Once you have the kit you are good.
