chris 0 Posted March 18, 2009 Title says it all. Can I own that rifle in this state? Thanks!
tbtrout 141 Posted March 18, 2009 Call Brick Armory. They like politically incorrect, but NJ legal rifles. They will have your answer.
EO1986 1 Posted March 18, 2009 I believe all the current M1A models are legal in jersey, because they never bothered to put a bayonet lug back on after the ban ended. Be aware that you are limited to the 10 round mags though (unless someone pins down the 20 rounders to 15).
Mauser88 0 Posted April 15, 2009 Perfectly legal in NJ.
PoorSoulInJersey 1 Posted April 15, 2009 Springfield makes a 15 round M1A mag. It's $50, but they do make it.
Mauser88 0 Posted April 15, 2009 The mag Springfield sells is a 20 round mag with a wood block in it. It's not permanent so not legal in NJ.
tbtrout 141 Posted April 16, 2009 Perfectly legal in NJ. Ok, I am officially jealous. Nice rifles
PoorSoulInJersey 1 Posted April 16, 2009 Title says it all. Can I own that rifle in this state?! I think the bigger challenge will be actually finding one! M1As are more popular than ever.
Yotafan 1 Posted April 16, 2009 How much are M1As going for?
PoorSoulInJersey 1 Posted April 16, 2009 How much are M1As going for? I'm not sure about the SOCOM. I've been seeing the M1A for about $1950 or so.
Mauser88 0 Posted April 16, 2009 Anywhere from $1500.00 to $1900.00 these days.
totalabuse 27 Posted April 18, 2009 I sold mine on Gunbroker for $1800.00. I almost felt bad for the guy.
Lublin 3 Posted May 7, 2009 I'm really wanting one of these but prices are definitely through the roof at the moment.
toknee 0 Posted May 23, 2009 Checkmate makes 15 round mags, cut to length, not blocked. Bought 10 of them at the Valley Forge Gun Show in PA.
