Magpul Glock 19 Mags Dissasembly Problem

So after firing around 1000 or so rounds through my Magpul  Glock 19 10 round mags I decided to clean them. Despite watching a Youtube video showing how to disassemble, I can't get the dam things apart and just sprayed  Gun Scrubber into them and let the liquid evaporate. Depressing the locking tabs  on the sides and trying to separate the top as shown in the videos did not seem to do anything. What's the trick?

They suck to disassemble and from a source that I can't remember right now, they aren't meant to be disassembled.  

I use a large punch held in a vise to push a locking tab in one side at a time.  It's miserable.  

I'd say, just go shoot them.  That's what I do now.

Look on YouTube, there’s some disassembly tip videos.  Some people use c-clamps to squeeze the mag body to make it easier to pry off the baseplate.  

You can also get a purpose built tool for disassembly.  I have something similar to the one below, makes it much easier but I still feel like I’m going to break the mags every time I pry the baseplate off.
