long range AR15 scope

Hey everyone. I have my short range red dot for my AR15 but I'd also like to pick up a long range scope for it that wont break the bank. Any suggestions?

How long is long range? What are you planning on shooting at? What is your definition of bankbreaking? For 200 yds and Zombies a fixed 6, 8 or 10 power is a good choice and is generaly a little cheaper then a variable.

Check out the Super Sniper at www.riflescopes.com I have the 10x and the 16x. Great scopes for the money.

A friend has a Super Sniper and loves it. Once you get past the tacticool name it is a good scope.

Can someone please explain to me the difference between the SWFA SS 10x42 Tactical Riflescope and the SWFA SS 10x42M Tactical Riflescope?

I'm guessing that the "m" designation has a mildot reticle instead of a simple crosshair reticle, but I'm not familiar witht e scopes and it's just a guess. The mildot reticle is more "tactical" than a simple crosshair.

Nope, that's not it. Both are mildot. The M has an additional adjustment turret, but I have no clue. Ignore my ramblings. :oops:

Can someone please explain to me the difference between the SWFA SS 10x42 Tactical Riflescope and the SWFA SS 10x42M Tactical Riflescope?

 

Simple enough. Just look at the picture. It's a side focus.

I have had two of the Tasco SS scopes in the past and I couldn't recommend them enough. They are great scopes and the price can't be beat.
