Hackensack FID Card

Hi,

 

"FNG" here. I applied for an FID card about 4 weeks ago. Has anyone applied for one in Hackensack that

can give me an idea on the turn-around time?

What? My cousin lives in upstate NY. Took him a year to get his handgun permit. Sure he can carry it now, but it took a YEAR.

In Hackensack your first FID card will take about 6 weeks. The officer who does it in Hack is very professional and gets it done.

They are having delays with the health department and not getting the mental health check back in time now.

Ive had a ppp in for about 35 days now.

So you are not in for a bad ride in hackensack, they do a good job and are very professional.

I submitted my application around the 7th of April. Spoke to the Sgt last Monday and he told me all he's waiting on

is the mental health form. I can't wait! I already purchased a handgun and it's waiting for me at Lawman's. Rounds inroute from Bass Pro-shops(should be here Tuesday).
